What is Tugboat or T3DP?

Tugboat 3D Printing (T3DP or Tugboat for short) is a small youth-led business proudly supporting Layer One. (You can learn more about Layer One on our Youth in 3D Printing page!)

At Tugboat, we believe the 3D printing world should be inclusive and welcoming to everyone—regardless of age, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We’re passionate about making sure everyone feels like they belong in this community.

We’re more than just a business—we’re a team of students who live and breathe 3D printing. If it were up to us, we’d live at a 3D printing convention! We love hearing from fans (especially younger ones!) and are always excited to connect.

What we do:

• 🧑‍🏫 Support for Classrooms: We provide resources, guidance, and materials for educators and classrooms interested in exploring 3D printing and engineering.

• 🌐 Community Engagement: Connect with us on Discord or YouTube—we're always happy to chat and answer questions (just be patient, we’re still in school too!).
